Annotations
A Surface is a 2-dimensional primitive and is composed of one or more surface patches as specified in ISO 19107:2003, 6.3.17.1. The surface patches are connected to one another.
patches encapsulates the patches of the surface.

Attributes
QName Type Fixed Default Use Annotation
axisLabels gml:NCNameList optional
gml:id ID required
The attribute gml:id supports provision of a handle for the XML element representing a GML Object. Its use is mandatory for all GML objects. It is of XML type ID, so is constrained to be unique in the XML document within which it occurs.
srsDimension positiveInteger optional
srsName anyURI optional
uomLabels gml:NCNameList optional
